Russian to English fix

There are two ways to change the language of farcry 4 from Russian to English

Method 1

Through ingame language settings

1. Launch the game and press "F3 SETTINGS" in the lower right corner of the main menu..

2. Go to the "OPTIONS"(2nd row from the top) and click on "GENERAL"(1st rectangle from the left).

3. It will open a list on the right with a yellow row "Game Language" on top. CLICK on it (it's not a title, it's a BUTTON!).

4. It will open a new menu with a list of languages, find your language and click on it.

Method 2

Through farcry 4 english patch

the english patch for farcry 4 is 804mb in size but it is the most effective and 100% working trick to change the language from russian to english.

Steps to follow

1)Open the game folder directory.
2)Go to "data_win32".
3) Delete the following file.

sound_russian.dat
sound_russian.fat

4)Now go to "data_win32 > worlds > fcc_main"
5) And delete the following files.

fcc_main_russian.dat
fcc_main_russian.fat

6) Go to "data_win32 > worlds > multicommon"
7) And delete the following files.

multicommon_russian.dat
multicommon_russian.fat

8) Now open the Farcry 4 english patch ( Download link provided above)
9) And open "data_win32"
10) Copy the two files and paste it in "data_win32" and paste it in your game directory.

11) now go to "data_win32 > worlds > fcc_main" in the english patch folder .
12) And copy the two files and paste it in
"data_win32 > worlds > fcc_main" in your game folder directory
13) Now open "data_win32 > worlds > fcc_main" in the patch folder.
14) copy the two files and paste them in
"data_win32 > worlds > fcc_main" in the game folder directory.

15) All set ,you're good to go.
